The importance of setting goals for your e business.
Goal Setting:
A vital element in suceeding in your e business involves Setting Goals and establishing a routine in which to achieve those goals. Without Goals combined with an organized plan in how to achieve them, you can encounter chaos.
As Geneva Gallander discusses in her sessions on Goal Setting, without Goals you end up with Wishes. Expanding on that theme, without organized and disiplined Action you end up being unable to accomplish your Goals. So you need both Goals and then Action. To reach or achieve a Goal, especially in marketing, you need a plan and you need to follow it daily, weekly, monthly and beyond.
* Step 1 - make your Goals:
As mentioned in the Goal Setting material, make Goals. Write them down. Review them constantly. A goal might be: I want to contact 10 people this week about my work digital business. To achieve that goal to will need to use your tools, like posting to the classified adboards and doing some email marketing, and then follow up on the leads you generate.
* Step 2 - make Plans:

* Step 3- take Action:
Once you have your links, join venues. Save your login information. Download tools. Set your ads up or your links. In the case of the Submitter(s), you have many steps to accomplish before you can start sending to the lists. This will take time.

Setting up all your resources will not happen in one day. But they need to happen so you can use them. Make a schedule and take the time to set everything up so you can use the tools.

Turn your auto tools on like the Rank Enhancer, Auto FFA submitter, and automailer xp so they can work for you 24/7. The bottom line in any successful marketing endeavor is to take action daily. No one can do this for you - that is something that is only in your hands.
Some venues only require bi-weekly attention, others monthly or every 6 weeks. You should consider submitting to the search engines that do not have robots every 6 to 8 weeks to keep them current. What ever the tool, you need to USE them to develop leads, sign ups and sales.
Note on Goals:
You may start out with a Goal like "I want to make $.........." That is a very broad goal. To reach that goal, you will actually have many other goals like "I need x..... people signed up in my WorkDigital business". That leads to how that happens. That leads to how you get people INTRODUCED to the business. That leads to more, narrowly defined goals! Everything flows from your initial goal and then the work you put into that goal to ensure that it happens.
It is natural to blame lack of success on The Program. Truth is, lack of success often happens for a number of reasons. One common reason is that you did not clearly define your goal and then understand what needed to take place and happen to achieve the goal. Many times it happens that you do not have tools, resources and guidance in which to reach your goals.
