FFA Link Board Marketing:
FFA boards - or free for all boards - are link marketing venues in which people post their link and short ad copy on the board on a temporary basis. In this respect they are similar to their cousins, the Classified Ad boards. There are several differences which make ffa postings unique from your classified ad posts:
- Links are temporary
- Ad space is more limited
- Less Catagories
- You receive commercial email from Admin and the Pro FFA board members
Some ffa boards are solo pages, like the Work Digital FFA page, that is then linked to a larger network. Examples of large ffa networks are Monster, Traffic Wave, Mulit-Links and Prospective Ads.
Posting to a board, or a network is simple. You go to the page, click on Add your Link Free, type in your information, choose a catagory, add your link and post. Some boards - the networks especially - will send you an email to verify your address before allowing the link to post to the board. Many boards, and most all the large ffa networks, limit you to posting one unique url and one unique email per day. If you have more than one url, you will need more than one marketing email account.
The key to this type of marketing is to post to as many sites as possible, in as short a time as possible. To accomplish this, you need blasters. There are several online adblasters listed on the side menu. During the Live Webinar we will give attendees download links to other desktop venues. As these links roll off the boards quickly, you want to include blasting your ads to the ffa networks in your daily marketing routine.
Expect to receive marketing emails from the Pro Members and Admins of the ffa boards and networks. You could get quite a lot of email, so always use a marketing email account - like yahoo or google - which is geared towards large volumes of email.
Besides a direct marketing venue, links on boards also count with the Search Engines making this a place to start building your presence in the engines. Because of this aspect, it always a good idea to include some key words and key word phrases in your short ads.
The flip side of posting links to the boards is the Email Marketing aspect as a Pro Member.
